Shiatsu Hielan Hands, Pitlochry, Perthshire, complementary therapists Heilan hands
I am originally from the Netherlands and have lived in Highland Perthshire for many years, apart from four years in North Uist in the Western Isles.
I qualified as a Zen Shiatsu practitioner in 1997 at the Glasgow School of Shiatsu and became a registered member of the British Shatsu Society after I passed their assessment. I attended workshops in CranioSacral therapy with the Upledger Institute UK. I have experience of care work and have worked with people who have experienced trauma and with those who live in different circumstances.
I am also a biodynamic and organic gardener. In the Western Isles I set up a horticultural project and a vegetable box scheme. I find that the force that comes from working with the soil complements being a Shiatsu practioner. I am also a member of the Care and Wellbeing Co-operative.

I first attended a Shiatsu session with Anneke Kraakman about two years ago. I found the experience intensely relaxing. She, as a practitioner, has the gift of creating stillness and calm and a great sense of wellbeing and healing. I cannot recommend Anneke highly enough.
Seonag Barbour, organic farmer, Pitlochry

Shiatsu treatments from Anneke have improved my energy levels and general wellbeing and made me more aware of my body's response to life. Anneke is a wise, experienced and sensitive practitioner.
